Foley Gardere Grows Austin Finance Practice

(April 6) – Foley Gardere announced Thursday that it has added Cynthia Harkness to its finance practice in Austin.

Harkness joins the recently-combined firm as of counsel from Haddad Legal Group, where she led that firm’s business transaction practice.

In addition to her experience at law firms, Harkness is a former general counsel of the Gapstone Group, The Weston Group and Fieldstone Investment Corporation/Fieldstone Mortgage Company. She has also held in-house positions at Constellation Power Source, Inc., Enron Broadband Services, Enron Wholesale and Crédit Agricole Indosuez.

Harkness represents businesses in financial and structured transactions, mergers and acquisitions and dispositions of assets and entities.
