(Feb. 20) – Gardere announced this month that it has launched a practice group focusing on venture capital and emerging businesses.
The new practice group will be co-chaired by Adam Hull, Rick Jordan and Glenn Singleton.
“Gardere has long been active in the early-stage market, but primarily has focuses efforts in later-stage investments,” Holland O’Neil, firm chair, said in a statement. “We are deploying increased resources to provide earlier-stage clients with increased access to sophisticated legal services and market connections.”
The new group recently represented NextSeed US LLC in its launch as the first national funding portal approved by the SEC and FINRA under the new Regulation Crowdfunding rules of Title III of the JOBS Act.
