Dallas real estate transactions lawyer Brian Bolton has left the Goldman Sachs legal department, where he was a vice president and associate general counsel, to join Locke Lord as a partner.
A graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law, Bolton is returning to the law firm where he started his career in 2006. He moved to Thompson & Knight in 2011 for four years before going in-house at Goldman Sachs, where he was the primary coverage attorney for the real estate finance group.
Bolton represents purchasers, owners and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition and development of a variety of types of improved and unimproved real property. He also represents lenders and borrowers in connection with lending transactions secured by real and related personal property.
