(Aug. 4) – Greenberg Traurig announced today that it has expanded its corporate practice in Austin with the addition of Kyle Fox as a shareholder.
Fox was previously at Miller, Egan, Molter & Nelson. He says GT has the “right platform” to serve his clients more efficiently.
“GT has a topnotch corporate practice focused on mid-market private equity transactions, as well as more general M&A from $20 million and up,” he said.
The University of Texas School of Law graduate focuses his practice on mergers, acquisitions and other transactions private equity and venture capital-backed companies and private companies.
In the past year, Fox has helped a client acquire a company providing cross-border payment networks and infrastructure for banks and companies. He has also been involved with a distressed acquisition of a company operating a fleet of LNG-powered over-the-road trucks.
Fox notes that the key topics in his M&A practice are tax structuring, risk allocation that makes good business sense and identifying issues and solutions for the selling company’s operations.
