Greenberg Traurig (GT) is a longtime and long-term player in Texas and is committed to the needs of clients here, and those seeking to work in Texas. We have been and will continue to understand the nature of Texas, and the respect, trust and empowerment GT has always provided here will continue.

Greenberg Traurig’s presence in Texas spans almost 15 years, beginning with our office in Dallas and quickly expanding into Houston and Austin over the next 5 years. Today, GT’s Texas offices in Austin, Dallas and Houston include more than 120 attorneys representing clients in matters locally, nationally and globally, providing efficient access to GT’s global platform which includes more than 2,000 attorneys in 38 offices in the U.S., Latin America, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

GT’s expansion into Texas happened as part of the firm’s strategy and commitment to serve our clients in major markets and our dedication to expanding key practice and industry groups with top-tier practitioners who share the firm’s core values.

GT is regularly recognized by legal and business organizations and publications for important representations, court decisions, and client service. Recently, GT Texas attorneys secured a dismissal with prejudice for Whole Foods whose employees had alleged breach of fiduciary duties under ERISA.

Additionally GT is regularly acknowledged for philanthropic giving, locally and globally. Pro bono representation of underserved communities and crisis response are key components of our Texas involvement. Recently, GT represented, pro bono, the Tahirih Justice Center on behalf of children across Texas ultimately helping to eliminate forced child marriages. In 2017, serving as a role model, GT Texas attorneys brought clients, friends and mentees together for a day of volunteer service as part of its Hurricane Harvey response.
