(December 18)–Dallas-based litigation boutique Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail Shank has promoted Jonathan Childers, Trey Crawford and Michael Lang to the partnership.
“During the past several years each of these young men has demonstrated the skills in litigation, teamwork and service that are essential to the success of our clients and our firm,” said Michael Gruber, one of the firm’s co-founders, in a statement issued by the firm. “They have been key members of trial teams that have received multi-million dollar jury verdicts for plaintiff companies and take-nothing verdicts for defendants. We are very pleased to recognize their talents and importance to the future of our practice.”
Childers represents clients in the financial services, energy, commercial real estate and health care industries in state and federal courts. He is currently the vice-president of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
Crawford represents both plaintiffs and defendants in aviation, energy, real estate, construction, banking and securities matters, including breach of contract, securities fraud, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims.
Lang represents plaintiffs and defendants in the banking, manufacturing, energy, real estate and technology industries in state and federal courts. He has handled cases involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, breach of contract and patent infringement.
All three of the newly promoted partners are graduates of SMU’s Dedman School of Law.
