(Jan. 4) – Haynes and Boone announced yesterday the promotion of 13 lawyers to partner, including six in Texas.
Emily Westridge Black is a member of the white collar defense practice group and advises clients on data breach, cybersecurity, anti-corruption and FCPA, securities regulation, antitrust and class action matters. While in-house at an international pharmaceutical company, she developed and implemented organization-wide anti-corruption initiatives.
Black also serves on the Steering Committee of the American Bar Association’s Death Penalty Representation Project. She is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law and offices in Austin and Dallas.
Polly Fohn is a Houston-based attorney in the firm’s appellate practice group. She has argued cases to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Texas appellate courts.
Sakina Rasheed Foster, a University of Texas School of Law alumna, is a member of the finance practice group in Dallas. She focuses on representing financial institutions and borrowers in complex commercial loan transactions and airlines in aviation matters.
Kraig Grahmann represents banks, private capital providers and upstream energy companies in financing transactions and equity investments and oil and gas companies in acquisition, divestiture and joint development transactions. The University of Houston Law Center graduate is a member of the firm’s energy practice group in Houston.
Kyle Howard, a SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, is part of the intellectual property practice group in the firm’s Richardson office. He has successfully represented clients in post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, including inter partes review (IPR) proceedings.
Suzie Trigg focuses her practice on representing consumer product companies and restaurant chains in strategic transactions and providing guidance on regulatory issues. The University of Texas School of Law alumna is based in the firm’s Dallas office and is a member of the FDA, supply chain and franchise and distribution practice groups.
