(Aug. 11) – Holland & Knight announced today that it has added maritime and energy attorney Julia Palmer as a partner in Houston.

Palmer laterals over from Gray Reed & McGraw. She has experience representing clients in collision cases, hurricane losses, onshore and offshore oil and gas claims, hydraulic fracturing cases, marine and energy products liability litigation, personal injury actions, contract and lien claims, dock and stevedore liabilities and subrogation litigation.

“I’m thrilled to be joining one of the largest and most geographically diverse maritime practices in the U.S.,” Palmer, a South Texas College of Law graduate, said in a statement. “It is my hope that the firm’s shipping and energy clients will view our Houston office as a strong resource in the future.”
