(April 5) – Holland & Knight has boosted its corporate practice with the addition of David Taylor as a partner in Houston, the firm recently announced.
Taylor, who was previously a shareholder at Chamberlain Hrdlicka, focuses his practice on federal and state securities matters, complex commercial transactions and general corporate matters.
In the past two years, he has served as lead securities counsel on more than $1 billion in privately placed securities offerings, according to the firm’s announcement.
“Dave is a seasoned attorney whose skills and services are particularly important now that we are seeing increased private investment activity, especially in the energy sector,” Brad Hancock, executive partner of Holland & Knight’s Houston office, said in a statement.
