Holland & Knight has amped up its energy transactional capabilities by bringing on the leader of Gray Reed’s M&A and private equity practice, Nancy Bostic.
Based in Houston, Bostic’s clients focus on the upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas sectors and in the oilfield services, industrial, waste and environmental services, chemicals and product manufacturing industries.
Jeremiah Mayfield, who heads up Holland & Knight’s corporate, M&A and securities practice for the Texas region, said Bostic is a “first-rate deal lawyer” who possesses an “impressive deal sheet.”
In 2019, Bostic worked across Thompson & Knight on Natural Gas Partners’ $100 million funding for Dallas-based Wing Resources to pursue mineral and royalty acquisitions in the Permian Basin. Bostic and Gray Reed partner David Earhart advised Wing, a private-equity backed oil and gas company focused on strategic acquisitions in the Permian.
Before her five-and-a-half-year tenure at Gray Reed, Bostic practiced for more than a decade at Andrews Kurth.
