Houston Oil and Gas Trial Partner Jumps to Hicks Thomas

(July 13) – Hicks Thomas announced this week that oil and gas trial partner Paul Mitchell has lateraled to the Houston litigation boutique.

Mitchell, who was previously at Andrews Kurth Kenyon, reunites with firm co-founder John Thomas. The two clerked together 30 years ago at the Fifth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The former Big Law partner focuses his practice on government investigations and issues related to the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. His clients include businesses from super-majors to small independents.
