Investment Management Partner Joins Munsch Hardt from Haynes and Boone

August 8, 2019 Brooks Igo

Munsch Hardt has bolstered its corporate and securities practice group with the addition of former Haynes and Boone partner Bo Sartain in Dallas.

Sartain, who founded and ran a software company from 2010 to 2014, focuses his law practice on working with investors and entrepreneurs in complex financing and acquisitive transactions. He has served as outside general counsel for a number of small businesses, handling matters ranging from commercial and technology agreements to corporate governance.

“Private equity, venture capital and investment funds comprise a critical component of our corporate and securities practice,” Phil Appenzeller, CEO of Munsch Hardt, said in a statement.

“Bo’s extensive and firsthand experience in this area further expands our ability to serve both financial institutions as well as entrepreneurs and high-growth companies.”

Sartain, who has worked with Munsch Hardt corporate and securities section head Rob Kibby in the past, noted that Munsch Hardt provides his clients with a platform and rate structure they need.

Sartain received his law degree from the University of Texas. Prior to going to law school, he was a systems engineer for Electronic Data Systems.
