(March 30) – Jackson Walker announced two lateral group moves this month that deepened its intellectual property and corporate and securities benches in Houston and San Antonio, respectively.

The Houston office grew to nearly 90 lawyers with the addition of six intellectual property partners from Williams Morgan, a Houston patent boutique. The attorneys include Danny Williams, Brian Buss, Chris Cravey, Drew Kim, Leisa Peschel and David Wooten.

The six-partner team brings IP litigation, patent litigation, copyright litigation and trade secret litigation experience to Jackson Walker.

Jackson Walker targeted a three-person group of corporate and securities attorneys to join its San Antonio office.

Steve Jacobs, who was previously a partner at Jackson Walker, returns in the same role. He is joined by of counsel Steve Seidel and associate Noah Speck. Seidel is the former executive vice president and general counsel of Kinetic Concepts, Inc. (KCI), which is now Acelity.

“Their extensive experience will enhance our already strong corporate practice and enables us to better serve our healthcare, energy and technology clients,” Rich Dahlson, leader of Jackson Walker’s corporate and securities practice group, said in a statement.
