(Feb. 20) – Jackson Walker announced last week that 10 attorneys have been promoted to partner across five different Texas offices.
Chris Bankler is a Dallas litigation partner. The SMU Dedman School of Law graduate focuses his practice on dispute resolutions – including fraud claims, breach of fiduciary duty and breach of contract claims – for businesses and financial institutions.
Courtney Carlson, a South Texas College of Law alumna, is a Houston commercial litigation partner. Her practice has a particular emphasis on the energy and financial industries.
Steven Dimitt, a Dallas attorney and SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, represents land use, construction and business clients in litigation. He has recently specialized in representing religious institutions against municipalities regarding violations of the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Person’s Act.
Kimberly Gdula is an Austin litigator who represents clients in contract actions, fiduciary litigation, real estate litigation, insurance defense, partnership disputes and antitrust suits. She received her law degree from Baylor University School of Law.
Ann Leafstedt is a San Antonio-based corporate partner who advises family offices and businesses on entity formation, acquisitions, entity governance, drafting contracts and other corporate matters. She is a University of Texas School of Law graduate.
Carrie Bowers Miller focuses her practice on representing financial institutions, real estate developers and mining companies in business transactions. The Fort Worth finance partner has negotiated single-asset and portfolio transactions, multi-state transactions, loan participations and multi-creditor facilities.
Ben Rhem is an Austin-based energy and environmental attorney. The University of Houston Law Center graduate advises power generation, oil and gas and mining companies in state and federal compliance matters.
Cassie Ross is an Austin real estate partner who represents purchasers, sellers, borrowers, developers, landlords and tenants in real estate transactions. She is a St. Mary’s University School of Law graduate.
Amanda Shaw-Castro focuses her Houston-based practice on energy and commercial finance transactions and multi-state real estate portfolio transactions. The South Texas College of Law alumna has represented private and public companies in the acquisition of large multi-state portfolios ranging in value from $250 million to $8.1 billion.
Jordan Smith is a Dallas energy partner who centers his practice on energy, natural resources, real estate and general corporate transactions. He received his law degree from St. Mary’ University School of Law.
