(Jan. 18) – Jones Day announced yesterday afternoon that Hilda Galvan, partner-in-charge of the firm’s Dallas office, has been named the chair of the board of the Dallas Regional Chamber for 2017.
Galvan is a past president of The Honorable Barbara M.G. Lynn American Inn of Courts. She also currently serves on the board of trustees for the University of Texas School of Law, the executive committee of Circle Ten Boy Scouts of America, the executive committee for Center for Women in Law and the boards of the Dallas Women’s Foundation, Parkland Foundation and Dallas Hispanic Law Foundation.
“My personal passion to improve educational opportunities from early childhood to higher education dovetails with the Chamber’s commitment to education as a key component of talent development and attraction,” Galvan said in the announcement.
