Katten has recruited PwC veteran John Collins III to join its Private Wealth practice, the firm announced Tuesday.
Collins, a graduate of the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, had been at PwC since 2008. His experience concentrates on assisting prominent families in multiphase estate planning, executing advanced trust and gift strategies, and working through complex tax, wealth transfer and business planning needs across a range of asset mixes, industries and stages of development.
“John’s demonstrated ability to deftly handle the wide range of laws, regulations and competing considerations often involved in wealth management combined with his impressive network of social and professional contacts across the Dallas-Fort Worth area and beyond ensure that he will hit the ground running here,” Mark Solomon, managing partner of Katten’s Dallas office, said in the firm’s announcement. “I am pleased to add his name to our ever-growing roster of top-notch attorneys.”
