(Jan. 3) – Kelly Hart has promoted five lawyers to partner, the firm announced this morning.
All five of the newly-minted partners are based in the firm’s home base of Fort Worth.
David Garza, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation. He has represented clients in a number of industries, including general contractors, health care companies, on-line travel companies, retailers and talent agencies.
Preston Mundt, a Texas Tech University School of Law alumnus, is a trial lawyer with experience in oil and gas litigation, breach of contract, business torts, premises liability, intellectual property, insurance coverage disputes, employment disputes and probate and trust litigation.
Clark Rucker primarily represents clients in the oil and gas sector, where he has advised oil and gas exploration companies and landowners. The University of Texas School of Law graduate maintains both a litigation and transactional practice.
Kim Uskovich focuses her practice on creating and implementing estate plans for individuals, including estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning. She received her law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M University School of Law).
Jeff Whitfield represents businesses and individuals facing legal and policy challenges. He has advised on contract disputes, election challenges, securities litigation, products and premises liability, international law issues, statutory construction and questions of constitutionality.
