(July 5) – K&L Gates announced two new additions to its power practice in Houston this week.
Partner Robert George and counsel Edmundo de la Fuente have lateraled to the firm from Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle, where George was managing partner. K&L Gates has added more than 20 lawyers to its energy, infrastructure and resources practice global platform over the past year.
George concentrates his U.S. and cross-border practice on the development and financing of energy and infrastructure projects, trading of financial products and energy commodities, and mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and structured finance, including prepayments and securitizations of financial and other income generating assets.
