(June 18) – Arthur Nathan, a Houston corporate lawyer, has jumped to Kane Russell Coleman Logan as a director.
Nathan was most recently at Jones Day, where he was of counsel. He advises clients in mergers and acquisitions, business and tax planning, and other U.S. and international transactional matters.
“Arthur represents a gigantic step forward in the firm’s goal of adding lateral partners who possess keen intellect and business acumen, as well as having outstanding client following. Arthur’s extensive corporate expertise and exceptional client service will be an asset to the firm as we continue to grow both offices of KRCL and lay the foundation for an even stronger future,” Marcy Rothman, managing director of the KRCL’s Houston office, said in a statement.
In March, Nathan advised newly formed management-led buyout group EDIT Texas on the acquisition and financing of Tailored Brands unit MW Cleaners for $18 million.
Nathan’s departure comes after Houston M&A partner Jeff Dinerstein made his move from Jones Day to Morgan Lewis earlier this month. Nathan joined Jones Day around the same time as Dinerstein in 2014.
