Latham Names Three New Partners in Houston

October 29, 2018 Brooks Igo

Latham & Watkins announced its partner promotions on Monday.

Thirty-one associates will be effectively elevated to partner at the beginning of 2019, including three attorneys in Houston.

Chris Bennett handles M&A and joint venture transactions in the energy industry, with an emphasis on upstream and midstream deals.

Nick Dhesi, who received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, advises energy corporations and master limited partnerships on M&A matters, capital markets transactions and private equity investments.

Bryant Lee is a member of the firm’s tax group. He focuses his practice on the US federal income taxation of various transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and capital markets offerings. He regularly advises publicly traded partnerships, master limited partnerships, corporations, private equity firms, and investment banks involved in the energy sector.

“Bryant, Chris and Nick are exceptional Houston lawyers whose work in their respective practices spans the energy industry and showcases the experience Latham offers,” Houston office managing partner Tim Fenn says. “Their commitment to client service and leadership skills make them valuable advisors to lead their clients and the firm into the future.”
