(Oct. 26) – The Dallas Women Lawyers Association recently honored Dallas trial lawyer Lisa Blue with the Louise B. Raggio Award at its 2016 Annual Awards Reception.
Blue has amassed more than $350 million in verdicts and settlements for her clients, according to a press release. The Raggio Award is given to someone who has demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism while making significant contributions to the advancement of women attorneys.
The DWLA also recognized Stacey Doré, former executive vice president, general counsel and co-chief restructuring officer at Energy Future Holdings, as Outstanding Corporate Counselor; Kit Addleman, partner at Haynes and Boone, as Outstanding Female Partner, Large Firm; Dawn Estes, founding partner of Estes Thorne & Carr, as Outstanding Female Partner, Small Firm; Jennifer Ryback, associate at McGuire, Craddock & Strother, with the Rising Raggio Award; and Judge Tonya Parker as DWLA Outstanding Director.
“All of these women are truly extraordinary leaders and are deserving of this recognition,” DWLA President Angela Zambrano said in a statement. “And all are terrific examples for the rest of us to follow in our own careers.”
