(May 17) – Law schools in Texas have begun offering classes specifically about eminent domain law this year, in response to explosive growth in the state and issues surrounding property rights and infrastructure.
The University of Texas School of Law is offering the state’s first law school course devoted to eminent domain law. The University of Houston Law center will offer a similar course this year.
Lawyers from the Austin-based litigation boutique Johns Marrs Ellis & Hodge will teach the courses at both schools.
