Locke Lord announced this week that Austin partner Susan Kidwell received the Travis County Women Lawyers’ Association and Foundation 2019 Pro Bono Attorney Award at the organization’s annual grants and awards luncheon.
Kidwell, an appellate lawyer, was recognized for her service as past president of the Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, where she helped form a strategic plan for VLS to further the organization’s mission of providing volunteer attorneys and legal services to low-income clients. She currently sits on the VLS Board of Directors and actively works pro bono family law cases.
