(Jan. 12) – Locke Lord announced Thursday that Houston partner David Patton has been named the recipient of the Ernest E. Smith Lifetime Achievement Award by The Texas Journal of Oil, Gas, and Energy Law. He will be honored at its annual banquet on Feb. 1.
Patton is the 13th winner of the award, given to individuals for “significant contributions to the oil, gas and energy industry.”
Co-chair of the firm’s energy practice group, Patton sits on the board of directors of DXP Enterprises, a Houston-based industrial distribution company.
