(Feb. 20) – Midland-based energy law boutique Davis, Gerald & Cremer has announced its second significant move of the year in Austin by bringing on appellate specialist Charles “Skip” Watson as a shareholder.
In January, Davis, Gerald & Cremer made news with the additions of trial lawyers Shannon Ratliff and Lisa Paulson. Watson is the firm’s fifth attorney in the state capitol.
“This is a rare opportunity to handle appeals generated by legendary oil and gas litigators at the time the Texas Supreme Court is actively reexamining how decades-old principles fit new technology, new lease clauses and a challenging economy,” Watson, who has two cases pending before the state’s highest court, said in the press release.
