(Dec. 6) – Morgan Lewis has lured three healthcare partners to its Houston office, the firm announced Monday, including the co-leader of BakerHostetler’s healthcare practice and the vice president of legal affairs at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.

Gregory Etzel, who has been on the UT Medical Branch’s legal staff since 2013, will officially join Morgan Lewis in the new year. Scott McBride and John Petrelli lateraled over from BakerHostetler, where they team back up with Susan Feigin Harris and Donna Clark, who joined Morgan Lewis in November.

Morgan Lewis also announced that healthcare of counsel Summer Swallow, two associates and a senior health policy analyst are making the move.

McBride, who was co-leader of BakerHostetler’s healthcare practice, represents clients in False Claims Act litigation, internal and external investigations, and regulatory enforcement proceedings. Petrelli also focuses on False Claims Act litigation.
