(Jan. 27) – Morgan Lewis announced today that the firm has promoted two corporate transactional lawyers in Houston to partner.
Humberto Padilla Gonzalez and Felipe Alice are part of the firm’s Latin America group, which focuses on in-country transactions in Mexico and Central and South America, as well as cross-border deals involving the U.S., Europe and Asia.
The Latin America team includes lawyers from Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, and Washington, D.C.
Padilla focuses his practice on cross-border and U.S. M&A transactions, joint ventures, private equity fund investments and internal compliance investigations under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Alice’s practice includes an emphasis on energy transactions and infrastructure projects. He represents clients on a variety of matters involving Brazil and Latin America, specifically.
