Jenny Martinez, a former named partner at Godwin Bowman & Martinez, has moved her law practice to Munck Wilson Mandala, the firm announced on Monday.
Martinez, who received her law degree from SMU, joins Munck Wilson as a senior partner.
“I have known the Munck Wilson team for a number of years, and I recently participated in the S.H.E. Summit the firm sponsored,” Martinez said in a statement. “When Munck Wilson sets out to accomplish something, it happens. The firm has an impressive record of winning tough litigation cases.”
Martinez handles business disputes involving banking, real estate, employment, insurance and contracts. The most high profile matter she has been involved with was representing Halliburton in connection with the litigation and investigation of British Petroleum’s Deepwater Horizon explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.
