(Aug. 1) – Ten former attorneys from Beirne, Maynard & Parsons recently announced the launch of a boutique firm called Parsons McEntire McCleary & Clark (PMMC).
The new law firm will specialize in litigation, appellate and dispute resolution matters and has offices in Houston and Dallas. Roger McCleary, one of the named shareholders, says it is a “thrilling” opportunity to start a firm with the “best trial lawyers” he knows.
“BMP [Beirne, Maynard & Parsons] was a very unique firm that had a great run,” said McCleary, who is vice-chair of PMMC. “We desired to go in a new direction.”
Jeff Parsons, a former named partner at Beirne, Maynard & Parsons, is the chair of PMMC. Sawnie McEntire is the manager of the firm’s Dallas office. David Clark is the other named shareholder at PMMC.
David Walton, Kristen McDanald and Rob Rosen are also shareholders in the new firm. Brandan Montiminy, Sarah Sparling and Ryan Starbird are associates.
PMMC’s client list includes AIG, Capital One and Cushman & Wakefield, among others.
“We are thankful for the support from our clients,” he said. “It gives us a good sense of optimism.”
