Paul Hastings Taps Rick Burleson to Lead Oil and Gas Practice

(Feb. 1) – Paul Hastings announced recently that Rick Burleson, founder of the recently-closed energy law firm Burleson LLP, will lead the firm’s oil and gas practice.

Burleson, who will be based in Houston, advises independent oil and gas companies, private equity groups, senior and mezzanine lenders and other businesses in the oil and gas industry. He focuses his practice on M&A and corporate finance matters.

Burleson managed more than 130 lawyers in five different cities at one point over the course of his law firm’s decade-long existence.
