Polsinelli began the month of February with a new Dallas office managing shareholder.
The Kansas City law firm has announced that Brian Bullard is stepping in for Jon Henderson, who has led the office since it opened in 2011. During his tenure, Henderson saw the office grow to almost 60 attorneys.
Bullard, a graduate of the SMU Dedman School of Law, is a shareholder in the firm’s investment funds and corporate and transactional practices. He regularly represents both emerging and institutional managers and sponsors on commercial and real estate transactions.
“I’m thrilled to have this opportunity to lead Polsinelli’s Dallas office,” Bullard, who lateraled to Polsinelli from Akin Gump in 2017, said in a statement. “Our Dallas team, as well as the hundreds of Polsinelli professionals firm-wide, are exceptionally skilled at what they do, serve great clients and are truly collaborative in their daily work with one another.
“We are also very fortunate to have benefited from years of Jon’s strong, visionary leadership. My goal is to continue building on this legacy going forward.”
Henderson now serves on the 900-lawyer firm’s board of directors and will continue to serve as chair of Polsinelli’s corporate and transactional practice and co-chair of its health care mergers and acquisitions practice.
“It has been a privilege to serve as the Dallas office managing partner for nearly a decade, and to have personally witnessed its amazing growth,” Henderson said in the announcement. “I am so proud of the work we have done together to date, and I am completely confident that the office and our team in Dallas will continue to thrive under Brian’s more-than-capable leadership.”
