(Jan. 26) – Houston-based Porter Hedges announced this week that five attorneys have been minted partners.
Matt Lea is a member of the firm’s energy finance section. The South Texas College of Law graduate represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of conventional and mezzanine energy financing and related secured transactions, including reserve-based lending and revolving and term credit facilities.
Joseph Morrel, a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, is a corporate attorney who focuses his practice on the acquisition or disposition of businesses, mergers, equity purchase agreements, asset purchase agreements and other forms of combination or exchange agreements.
Aaron Power is a bankruptcy specialist who advises clients on corporate reorganizations and restructurings, creditors’ rights and trustee representation. He is president of the bankruptcy section of the Houston Bar Association.
R. Blake Runions is in the litigation section and represents domestic and foreign entities and individuals in business disputes and investigatory matters. He received his law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
M. Harris Stamey, also a South Texas College of Law alum, is in the firm’s energy litigation section. He counsels large exploration and production companies, mid-size corporations, local companies, partnerships, operators, non-operators and individuals as both plaintiffs and defendants.
