Premium Subscriber Q&A: Chris Blevins

January 25, 2026 Mark Curriden

In this Q&A with The Texas Lawbook, Chris Blevins discusses the traits he seeks in outside counsel, what outside counsel need to know when working with him and more.

Texas Lawbook: What has been your best day at Solo Brands?

Chris Blevins: I love any day when we launch a new product. Every new product launch is the culmination of months — sometimes years — of hard work and collaboration across multiple departments. The launch itself is just the visible moment, but it represents the collective effort, problem solving and dedication of product, marketing, operations, legal and logistics teams working together to bring a concept to life in a way that delights our customers. We had a number of great launches at Chubbies, expansion into the greenhouse space with ISLE’s new HAVN inflatable greenhouse and four milestone launches at Solo Stove this past year with our Steelfire 30 Griddle, Summit 24 smokeless fire pit, Windchill 47 cooler and our Infinity Flame propane fire pit.

Lawbook: What do you look for in hiring outside counsel?

Blevins: Competent, responsive counsel who understand the needs of our business. The biggest value-add is someone who can anticipate an issue before I’m facing it.

Lawbook: What does outside counsel need to know about working with you?

Blevins: I value clear communication, responsiveness and practical advice grounded in business reality.
