Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham has hired veteran litigator Dabney Pettus as a partner in its Corpus Christi office, the firm announced Monday in a news release.
Pettus, a Corpus Christi native who was previously with Clark Hill’s San Antonio office, brings more than 20 years of experience in maritime law, as well as in probate, guardianship and estate planning.
“We are thrilled to have Dabney join our firm,” said John Schouest, SBSB Eastham managing partner, in the release. “We are investing further in Corpus Christi as we expand our physical footprint and add exceptional talent like Dabney to help us better serve our clients and the South Texas Coastal Bend community.”
AREAS OF FOCUS
Pettus specializes in admiralty and maritime law, including litigation, casualty investigations onboard vessels, U.S. Coast Guard regulatory matters, representation of international protection and indemnity associations and U.S. Customs and Border Protection issues, according to the release.
