Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham Adds Partner to Corpus Christi Office

August 22, 2024 Krista Torralva

Schouest, Bamdas, Soshea, BenMaier & Eastham announced Thursday the addition of litigator Don Jones as a partner in the firm’s Corpus Christi office.

Jones, who previously worked at Porter Rogers Dahlman & Gordon, focuses his practice on commercial and construction litigation, real estate and development litigation and oil and gas. He has spent more than two decades of his legal career in the Coastal Bend city, where he has served as president of the Corpus Christi Bar Association. Jones has also served as a director for the Texas Young Lawyers Association, according to the announcement from SBSB Eastham.

“We are so excited to welcome Don to our firm,” SBSB Eastham managing partner John Schouest said. “First and foremost, he is a talented and accomplished trial lawyer. His skills combined with his deep roots in Corpus Christi make him the perfect person to help lead and grow our firm while expanding our depth of services in and around South Texas.”

Jones is a graduate of the University of Houston Law Center and Texas A&M University where he obtained his undergraduate degree.

“I am so excited to join the SBSB Eastham team and proud to have been given this opportunity,” Jones said. “Becoming a partner in this firm will allow me to be able to help more people, to better serve clients in Corpus Christi and beyond.”The Houston-based law firm, now in its 10th year, announced the launch of a Dallas office in June. The firm now has three offices in Texas and offices in Boca Raton, New Orleans, Chicago and Milwaukee.
