By Brooks Igo – (January 9) – Dallas-based Shackelford, Melton, McKinley & Norton announced this week the addition of attorneys Joshua Northam and Benjamin Sparks as partner and of counsel, respectively.
Northam, a SMU Dedman School of Law graduate, joins the business and entertainment law firm from Blume, Faulkner & Skeen, where he was a named partner. He is a civil litigator and family law attorney, and he currently serves part-time as a Dallas County Truancy Courts magistrate.
Sparks returns to practicing law and joins Shackelford from Ernst & Young, where he was a senior manager in the financial services group. Earlier in his career, he was a tax associate at Gardere.
