May 13, 2019 Brooks Igo

Sheppard Mullin announced an addition to its business trial practice in Dallas on Monday.

Amanda Cottrell has joined the firm as a partner from Stanton LLP. She focuses her practice on white collar criminal defense, internal investigations and complex commercial litigation.

The SMU Dedman School of Law graduate has significant experience defending energy and natural resources companies in commercial disputes related to property, contract and accounting issues. She has also handled FCPA, antitrust, fraud and export matters.

Cottrell is the 27th attorney in Sheppard Mullin’s Dallas office. The Los Angeles-based AM Law 100 firm opened in Dallas last year with 18 lawyers.
