Sheppard Mullin Picks Up Two Dallas Corporate Partners

June 10, 2020 Brooks Igo

Sheppard Mullin has strengthened its corporate practice in Dallas with the additions of Lindsay H. Ferguson and T. Allen McConnell, the firm recently announced.

Both join Sheppard Mullin as partners from Hunton Andrews Kurth.

A Texas Tech University School of Law graduate, Ferguson focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, including private equity-sponsored buy-outs, public and private securities offerings, securities regulations compliance and corporate governance.

McConnell, who also received his law degree from Texas Tech, concentrates his practice on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities regulation. He was the chief legal officer at Matrix Bancorp, a financial services company that was traded on the Nasdaq, from 1997 to 2006.

“Lindsay and Allen’s diverse and extensive experience in guiding private equity funds and private and public companies through all stages of their investment cycle and growth make them tremendous assets to our corporate and securities practice firmwide, and our growing corporate and private equity team in Dallas in particular,” Ariel Yehezkel, leader of Sheppard Mullin’s corporate and securities practice, said in a statement.
