Sidley Advises TSG in Sale of IT Cosmetics to L’Oreal

(July 27) – Seven lawyers from Dallas and Houston were part of the Sidley Austin legal team that represented TSG Consumer Partners in its sale of IT Cosmetics to L’Oreal for $1.2 billion.

Co-leading the transaction for Sidley is Houston corporate partner J. Mark Metts. The firm also turned to intellectual property lawyers in its Dallas office and corporate and tax lawyers in Houston to advise TSG and the founders of IT Cosmetics in the divestiture.

The other Sidley lawyers from Texas included Houston tax partner Timothy Devetski, tax associate Omair Khan, corporate associate Katy Lukaszewski, IP counsel Dusan Clark and associates Lauren Grau and Faye Zhao in Dallas.
