(December 13)–Sidley Austin counsel Christopher Gleason and associate E. Anna Ha are two of 24 new partners at the firm. Gleason is in the Dallas office and Ha is in the Houston office.
Gleason focuses his practice on finance transactions, including acquisition financing, asset-based and leveraged lending, investment grade lending, debt restructuring transactions and debtor-in-possession financings. He primarily represents private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers.
Ha, a University of Texas School of Law graduate, focuses her practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, private equity and general corporate, securities and corporate governance matters. She has represented several energy industry participants.
The two newly promoted Texas attorneys will effectively become partners on Jan. 1.
