Simpson Thacher Promotes Two to Partner in Houston

Simpson Thacher has minted eleven attorneys to the New York law firm’s partnership, including two in Houston.

Erland Modesto, who received his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law, concentrates his practice on representing lenders and borrowers – primarily in the energy sector – in acquisitions, reserve-based financings and other corporate financings.

Brian Rosenzweig focuses his practice on corporate finance transactions with an emphasis in the energy sector. He represents corporate issuers, private equity sponsors and underwriters in connection with offerings of debt and equity securities, including initial public offerings, high yield offerings, acquisition financings and liability management transactions.
