(Nov. 17) – Hunt Consolidated has named former Energy Future Holdings General Counsel Stacey H. Doré as its new senior vice president and chief legal officer for two of its affiliated companies, Hunt Utility Services and InfraREIT, a real estate investment trust that owns rate-regulated electric transmission and distribution assets in Texas.
Doré, who is widely considered one of the smartest lawyers and influential corporate in-house counsel in North Texas, replaces Benjamin D. Nelson.
“Stacey brings a wealth of experience, an outstanding track record and truly distinctive capabilities to the position,” InfraREIT CEO David A. Campbell said in a written statement. “We look forward to her contributing her expertise to all facets of the Company’s work.”
Doré joined Hunt after more than eight years at Energy Future Holdings, where she was general counsel during the past four and one-half years. She was a lawyer in the litigation section at Vinson & Elkins for more than 10 years.
Since March 2013, Doré also served as co-chief restructuring officer at EFH, helping guide the state’s largest power utility through Chapter 11 bankruptcy and reorganization.
