(Jan. 26) – The State Bar of Texas recently honored McAllen attorneys Victor Flores and Dan Worthington for their outstanding service to the legal profession and the greater McAllen community.
Flores and Worthington formally received the resolutions from State Bar President Frank Stevenson and the board of directors at a luncheon on Jan. 20.
Flores is a veteran of the Iraq War and is an assistant city attorney in the McAllen City Attorney’s Office. He was recognized for his involvement with the Texas Young Lawyers Association’s Vote America! project, which aims to educate high school students about their civic duty to vote.
Worthington is a litigation partner at Atlas Hall & Rodriguez in McAllen. The former decorated U.S. Army captain was honored by the State Bar for his outstanding volunteer service and his commitment to the legal community in Hidalgo County and across the state.
He is a past president of the Texas Association of Defense Counsel and the Rio Grande Valley Chapter of the Texas Chapters of the American Board of Trial Advocates.
