Houston food and service company Sysco has selected Eve McFadden to replace Russell Libby as general counsel and corporate secretary.
The $58 billion company announced Libby’s upcoming departure in June in an 8-K filing on January 29. McFadden has been with Sysco since 2008, when she joined the company from labor and employment law firm Littler Mendelson.
McFadden, a 2002 graduate of the University of Texas School of Law, was named Sysco’s ethics and compliance officer in 2018.
The leadership news comes on the heels of Sysco’s Jan. 28 acquisition of Waugh Foods Inc. for $40 million.
