Michael Toth has left the Texas Attorney General’s Office to be a special counsel at Dykema Cox Smith in Austin, the firm announced on Tuesday.
Toth served as special counsel to the first assistant attorney general for six months. He is also a current judicial candidate for the state’s Third Court of Appeals.
A former law clerk for the Honorable Edith Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, Toth is on the steering committee of the Federalist Society’s Austin Lawyers Chapter.
Toth also currently serves in the reserves of the United States Marine Corps as a legal advisor to active duty Marines.
