T&K’s Frank Finn Receives 2013 William Roper Award

Thompson & Knight of counsel Frank Finn has been named the recipient of the 2013 William Roper Award from the St. Thomas More Society, the Diocese of Dallas Catholic Lawyers’ Guild. Finn will be presented the award at a reception on Aug. 25, 2013.

The 1956 graduate of The University of Texas School of Law has been involved in hundreds of trials and alternative dispute resolution matters and appeals. He focuses his practice on all aspects of civil litigation including business disputes, product liability, personal injury, intellectual property, white collar criminal defense and family law.

The William Roper Award is given to a local attorney or judge whose public and private life reflects and perpetuates the legacy of Thomas More, the 16th century lawyer, judge and diplomat who served as Lord Chancellor of England under King Henry VIII and was later executed. The award is names for More’s son-in-law and first biographer. For more information on the St. Thomas More Society, please visit www.stmsdallas.org.
