(Dec. 27) – The UNT Dallas College of Law recently announced an endowed scholarship fund named for Founding Dean Royal Furgeson, who is set to retire on June 30, 2018.
The law school is accepting contributions to the endowed scholarship fund – which will benefit current and future law students – at the following link: https://one.unt.edu/dallas/law/giving.
Dean Furgeson released the following statement upon learning the fund would be named in his honor:
“From the beginning, my fundraising efforts have focused on student scholarships. I was therefore so pleased to learn of the endowment created in my name by my friends. Helping our students has always been my first priority. It’s where my heart is.”
