Vartabedian Hester & Haynes Hires Away Another Partner from Alston & Bird

August 14, 2024 Krista Torralva

Vartabedian Hester & Haynes, which opened in January with a group of 10 former Alston & Bird litigators, has hired away another partner from their former firm.

According to her LinkedIn profile, Daniella P. Main was a partner in Alston & Bird’s Dallas office. She had been with the firm for more than 13 years and started in its New York office.

Main’s practice focuses on class action and complex commercial litigation. Vartabedian’s name partner, Rob Vartabedian, said Tuesday that Main will support the firm’s oil and gas litigation clients while leading its commercial litigation in other industries from its Dallas office.

“Since opening our doors about six months ago, we’ve been very successful at translating our large-firm oil and gas trial practices to the new boutique. But we’ve also had a surprising number of opportunities in commercial litigation outside of the oil and gas industry,” Vartabedian said in a prepared statement. “We think someone of Daniella’s talent and reputation will put us in a great position to capitalize on those opportunities.”

Main obtained her law degree from Emory University, according to LinkedIn.

Also on Tuesday, Vartabedian announced the hiring of Austin Priddy as senior associate and Jackson Field and Weldon Sloan as associates.
