John D. Penn, a bankruptcy partner, has joined Fox Rothschild in Dallas, where he will focus his practice on complex bankruptcy and financial restructuring matters, according to a news release.
Before joining Fox Rothschild, Penn was a partner at Perkins Coie, where he practiced for 12 years, and began his legal career at Haynes Boone, where he was for 27 years.
“John brings more than four decades of experience guiding clients through complex bankruptcy and restructuring matters nationwide,” said Robert J. Palmer, Dallas Office Managing Partner, in the release. “His leadership and pragmatic approach will expand our abilities to solve problems for clients facing major financial challenges.”
AREAS OF FOCUS
Penn focuses his practice on Chapter 11 reorganizations, financial restructurings and bankruptcy litigation. He guides clients through complex restructurings across a wide range of industries including aviation, financial services, construction, energy, hospitality and several others.
