He will focus his practice on the development and construction of energy and infrastructure projects, including engineering, procurement and construction matters and data center development.
Daniel Mayerfeld, a business litigation partner, has joined Blank Rome in Houston from Skadden. He will focus his practice on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on high-stakes energy and commercial disputes.
Joel Goldberg, an energy partner, has joined King & Spalding’s Houston office from Porter Hedges, where he led the firm's Property and Finance Practice Group. He will focus his practice on the development, financing and acquisition of conventional and renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
David Higer, an intellectual property litigator, has joined Cole Schotz from Winstead as a member in the firm's Litigation and Intellectual Property departments.
Kevin Wakefield, a real estate finance lawyer, has joined Jones Day from Hunton Andrews Kurth as of counsel in the firm's Dallas office. He will focus his practice on commercial real estate finance and transactions, representing institutional lenders in commercial mortgage and mezzanine loan originations, while also advising clients on commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, development and leasing.
